What you make in the game
You may create things in the game: a club name, a kit and crest, chat messages, feedback. You keep whatever rights you have in them. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce and adapt them for the purpose of running and promoting the game, for example showing your kit on a league table or your club’s result on the World page, for as long as the game exists and for a reasonable time after.
You are responsible for what you create. Do not use names, logos, designs or text that belong to somebody else. A kit that copies a real club’s kit, or a club named after a real one, may be changed or removed.
Feedback you send us may be used to improve the game without any obligation to you.
Your profile picture. You may put a picture beside your name: one you upload, or the one you keep at Gravatar. It is shown wherever your name is, to anyone, signed in or not, so treat it as public. You confirm that the picture is yours to use; that anyone in it has agreed to appear; and that it is not sexual, violent, hateful, unlawful, misleading about who you are, or a picture of a real person, club, brand or logo you have no right to. We may take a picture down without notice where we reasonably think it breaks this, and we may end the account of somebody who keeps doing it.
Before we keep an uploaded picture we shrink it to a small square and remove the hidden data cameras add to a file, such as where and when it was taken. If you choose Gravatar, we fetch the picture from Gravatar on our server using a one-way hash of your email address and show it as if it were ours; your address is not sent to anyone’s browser. A Gravatar you change or remove changes or disappears here within about an hour.
